Hickory Police are searching for at least two suspects in connection with the theft of multiple vehicles from a Hickory dealership. Six vehicles valued at nearly $282,000 were taken from Cloninger Ford of Hickory Monday (July 3) between 12:30 a.m. and 7:35 a.m. The dealership is on Highway 70 S.E. in Hickory.
The vehicles taken are a B.M.W. 228xi, two Dodge Charger SXTs, a Cadillac Escalade, and two other Dodge Chargers. According to H.P.D.’s incident report, the B.M.W. is the only vehicle that has been recovered. It was valued at $33,450, leaving vehicles valued at $248,500 still unaccounted for.
A front glass door and an interior door were also vandalized during the incident.
