Hickory Man Jailed On Sexual Exploitation Charges

62-year-old Kelly Lee Setzer of Mark Drive in Hickory was arrested Friday, November 3rd on charges filed by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office and Hickory Police Department.

He’s charged by the Sheriff’s Office with 23 counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and nine counts of indecent liberties with a minor. Hickory Police charged Setzer with ten counts apiece of second-degree and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Setzer was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility under $455,000 bond.

A District Court date was scheduled today (November 6).
