Hickory Police arrested 53-year old Roland Vance Watson of Hickory this morning on child-sex charges. He is charged with felony statutory sex offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child. Watson is being held under a $225,000 secured bond in the Catawba County Jail and is expected to make a court appearance today in Newton.
