42-year old James Neil Milam of Hickory was taken into custody on Monday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with larceny from a motor vehicle, larceny, and fraud/obtaining property false pretense. Milam is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $6,500. Some of the charges are from Catawba County.
