The Catawba County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year old Andrew John Kenneth Patrick of Hickory on Monday on a series of child-sex related charges. Patrick is facing 5 counts of felony statutory rape/sexual offense with a child, first-degree sex offense with a child, and indecent liberties with a child. He is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $140,000. Patrick is scheduled to make a court appearance today in Newton.
