36-year old Justin Daniel Delaney of Hickory was taken into custody overnight by the Brookford Police Department. Delaney was charged with second-degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with an initial court appearance set for today in Newton.
