22-year-old Tylan Chevis Shade of 3rd Street SE in Hickory was arrested Wednesday by Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies. He’s charged with felony assault by strangulation and misdemeanor assault on a female. Shade was incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A District Court appearance was scheduled today.
