Hickory Police arrested a man early Sunday after he allegedly stabbed a victim in a public restroom. 50-year-old Ruben Brad Jackson of Hickory is charged with assault with a deadly weapon, felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of schedule VI controlled substance. The stabbing resulted in a non-life-threatening injury to the victim. Jackson is being held without bond pending an initial court appearance on Monday in Catawba County District Court in Newton.
