On Tuesday, April 25th, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to Lewis Ferry Road in reference to a suspect wearing a ski mask attempting to break into a vehicle.
Officers located a vehicle leaving a neighborhood and made contact with the driver, Kentrel Antwain Overton, age 28 of Hickory. A ski mask was located in the vehicle.
Overton was charged with Misdemeanor Attempted Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle, Misdemeanor Driving While License Revoked, and Misdemeanor Expired Registration. He was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $2,500 secured bond.
