As result of a traffic stop, a Hickory man was detained by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, September 18. 34-year-old Andre Louis Cook was charged with possession of schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer. Cook is no longer listed is an inmate in the Alexander County Detention Center.
