Hickory Man Dies After Being Shot In December

A Hickory man who suffered gunshot wounds has died.

According to published reports 26-year-old Michael Emmanuel Tucker Jr. died in a hospital over the past weekend. Tucker was found in a parked car suffering gunshot wounds in the early morning hours of December 8th. The car was located by Hickory Police in the 800 Block of 1st St SE.

According to a report on December 9th, it was determined that Tucker left his apartment to travel to a nearby convenience store prior to the gunshots being fired. It appears that the suspects fired multiple shots into Tucker’s vehicle from the roadway.

No arrests have been made.
