Faith Carrigan continued her stellar start to the season allowing an unearned run on 4 hits and striking out 10 batters as the Lady Cougars won at home on Tuesday.
ACHS was limited to only 4 hits as well but Kirstyn Herman had 3 of them. She drove in all four runs with an rbi single to tie the game in the 4th. She drove a pitch to the right field fence in the 6th that was tracked by the West Wilkes right fielder. Payton Grose had the ball go off her glove and over the wall for a three-run homer.
The Lady Cougars improve to 4-0 West Wilkes drops to 3-1.
