Fugitive From Eastern North Carolina Arrested In Catawba County

43-year-old Donta Antwan Valentine of Windsor in Bertie County, N.C. was arrested Thursday, July 23rd by authorities in Catawba County. He’s charged in Martin County with death by distribution or delivery, traffic in methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver meth, and manufacture, sell, deliver or possess controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school. Valentine is also charged on a warrant as a fugitive from another state.

The suspect was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A Martin County District Court date is scheduled for July 27.
