On Wednesday, investigators with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, along with members of the Interstate Criminal Enforcement Team, Criminal Investigations Division and Patrol Division executed search warrants at 120 Deep Water Road and 124 Fox Run Drive.
Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators received information that the occupants of the two residences were possibly manufacturing Crystal Methamphetamine and distributing narcotics in the area.
Undercover investigators conducted surveillance operations in the area and obtained evidence necessary to apply for the search warrants for both properties. Upon the execution of the search warrants, investigators and deputies located “Shake and Bake” Crystal Methamphetamine and items used to manufacture Crystal Methamphetamine inside the residence at 120 Deep Water Road. Investigators also discovered a burn pile consisting of small traces or pieces of evidence that indicate the attempted destruction of a Methamphetamine Lab at 120 Deep Water Road.
Investigators also located three 10-gallon air compressors, a 6-gallon air compressor, a pressure washer, and a four-piece sectional outdoor dining set. All the items are believed to be stolen from Walmart. Criminal investigators contacted Walmart to confirm that the items were missing from their inventory.
The following suspects have been arrested:

Eugenio Mata Carbajal

Eva Mata Carbajal

Chance Tyler Odell

Mark Anthony Wallace
Sheriff Campbell added, “This is the first methamphetamine lab that investigators have encountered in over three years here in Iredell County because the cost of Crystal Methamphetamine is almost at an all-time low.”
