Hickory Police arrested 39-year old Michelle Margaret Whitney this morning. She was charged with felony larceny, felony probation out of county, resisting a public officer, failure to appear for felony possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Whitney is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $55,000 and will make a court appearance on Monday in Newton.
