A man is dead, and a pair of suspects are being sought in Catawba County.
Around 3am, Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a residence on White Tail Circle in Conover. A Hispanic male was found dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
A white male and female are being sought as possible suspects in the shooting. The male is described as being approximately 40-50-years-old, with dark hair and facial hair. The woman is described as being approximately 20-30 years old, with blonde hair. The female was seen wearing a grey colored Calvin Kline hooded sweatshirt.
Update
The victim has been identified as 28-year old Samuel Antonio Hernandez Loza.
The location of the shooting was also the scene where a mother and son were killed on Oct. 13, 2019.
Brandi Rodriquez, 43, and Jessie Rodriquez, 24, were found dead inside the home with gunshot wounds. Gonzalo Salinas-Cisneros, 25, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder.
Salinas-Cisneros remains in the Catawba County Detention Center being held without bond.
