One person was killed in a crash early Saturday morning south of Taylorsville.
The accident was reported at 2:53 am on Highway 16 South near the intersection with County Home Road. One person died as the result of their injures.
The North Carolina Highway Patrol is in charge of the investigation. More details are expected later today.
