A half-mile evacuation was ordered Friday night in the area of the Pilot Travel Center at 1006 Charlotte Highway, off Interstate 77 in Iredell County.
A tanker truck hauling hydrogen was on fire at the gas station.
Troutman Fire and Rescue are on the scene.
