May 15, 2022 By Richard C. Gilbert

The final day of Early Voting on Saturday saw 203 Ballots cast in Alexander County.
1,578 Alexander County citizens voted prior to the May 17th Primary.

Alexander County Board of Elections Director Patrick Wike issued a thank you to all the early voting workers. “These folks endured long hours to assist voters and provide a positive voting experience. We would also like to thank the Alexander Senior Center for allowing their facility to serve as an early voting site, which provided 159 cumulative hours of voting opportunity.”

Voters who have not voted will need to go to their assigned precinct polling place on election day, Tuesday May 17.

Polls will be open Tuesday 6:30 am to 7:30pm.
