William Joshua Byard, age 29 of Statesville, was arrested Friday by Alexander County Sheriff Deputies and charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and breaking and entering. Byard was placed in the Alexander County Detention with a secured bond of $10,000. A Monday court date is scheduled.
