The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year old Matthew Cole Chapman of Mocksville on Friday, May 5th and charged him with possession of schedule III controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Chapman a series of previous charges pending in Alexander County that include driving with license revoked. As of earlier today, Chapman remained in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond set at $5,000. A Monday, May 15th court date is scheduled in Taylorsville.
