Caldwell County Schools announced Monday that a COVID-19 cluster has been confirmed at Collettsville Elementary School.
The cluster involves students in a classroom at the K-8 school, according to the district. A cluster is defined as five or more cases related to a particular event or location.
District officials said that any student or staff member identified as a close contact has been notified and all recommended quarantine procedures will be followed.
Caldwell County schools are in-person four days a week with Wednesday designated as a remote learning day.
