Couple Arrested After Domestic Incident In Hiddenite

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a Hiddenite residence on Friday, September 15th following report of a domestic disturbance. A male and female were taken into custody.

42-year old Amanda Jane Menscer of Statesville was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and simple assault. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.

Nathan Thomas Jordan, age 26 of Hiddente, was charged with assault on a female and simple assault. He was held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.

Menscer and Jordan are scheduled for court appearances on October 23rd.
