Alexander Central travels to Boone this evening in the Northwestern Conference Opener for both teams.
The Cougars had over 10 starters out due to COVID-19 Protocol last week and lost to South Iredell 7-2 in Troutman.
Watauga’s opening game against South Caldwell was postponed due to South Caldwell’s team not being eligible to play due to COVID-19 restrictions.
