Meredith Wike coming-off a cold-shooting game on Saturday found the range for 32 points (6 of 8 from three-point range) and 10 rebounds. Malayah Adams scored 14 and collected 8 assists. Josie Mayo topped the scoring list for Watauga (10-10 and 4-3) with 18.

The Cougars were devastated Monday night. Watauga jumped out early and led 28-13 after the first quarter. The Pioneers made 14 three-pointers compared to AC’s 6. Jackson Love and Cade Keller combined for 44 points to lead Watauga. Noah VanBeurden had 17 for Alexander Central. Watauga out-rebounded the Cougars 54-27 ! ACHS drops to 12-8 and 4-3 in league action while Watauga improves to 12-7 and 3-4.
