Alexander Central ran their junior varsity football winning streak to 45 games with a dominating 28-0 win over McDowell Thursday evening in Taylorsville.
QB Luke Hammer rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown, Logan Shoemaker ran for 102, and Braydon Rowe scored twice and gained 57 yards on the night.
Wesley McAlpin led the defense with 5 tackles including 1.5 tackles for loss. The Cougar defense held the Titans to only 62 yards and 3 first downs.
