Macy Law scattered 5 hits allowing an unearned run as the Lady Cougars won in Taylorsville. Alexander Central collected six hits and scored four times in the first inning. Ava Chapman hit a two-run homer in the opening frame. Kensley Davis had a pair of runs batted in. ACHS is now 4-3 on the season.

The Black Knights sweep the Cougars in home and home games winning Thursday in Welcome. North scored seven runs in the third after the Cougars took a 1-0 lead in the top of the inning. Two costly AC errors led to 5 unearned runs for North Davidson. The loss drops the Cougars to 4-4.
