The Lady Cougars led tip-to-final buzzer in a rout. They led by as many as 24 in 3rd quarter before the Lady Panthers made the final tally closer in the final period when they outscored AC 24-10. Sydney Hayes led the way with 15 points, Julianna Walter added 14. Madeleine Jenkins had 7 points and 11 boards. Alexander Central is 6-2 in Northwestern Conference play and 18-3 overall, Hibriten falls to 1-8 and 12-11.

The Cougars led at halftime 26-13 and left not doubt in the quarter four outpacing the Panthers 21-8. Evan Presnell’s 24 was tops for ACHS. Grove Lowrance added 11 and Dusty Sigmon 10 to lead the conference leading Cougars who improve to 7-1 and 19-3. Hibriten slides to 2-7 and 8-13.
