Ashley Elaine Pope, age 38 of Conover, was arrested on Thursday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She was served warrants from Catawba County for failure to appear (larceny) and felony probation violation. Pope has been transferred to the Catawba County Detention Center where she remains as of earlier today. Bond is listed at $21,000.
