Claremont Woman Facing Alexander County Charges

Brittany Dawn Riley, age 28 of Claremont was arrested on July 23rd by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. As of this morning, Riley remained in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $6,500.

She has a court appearance scheduled for Monday, August 9th in Taylorsville.

Riley has earlier pending charges filed by Taylorsville Police that include felony possession of methamphetamine and shoplifting/concealment of goods. In addition. Riley has pending charges in Catawba County for assault and resisting arrest.
