Collettsville, NC – On Saturday, June 27, at approximately 4:09 pm, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Deputies, Caldwell County EMS, and Collettsville Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a missing child along Wilson Creek at Brown Mountain Beach Road and Craig Creek Road.
The 12-year-old boy was found in the water a short while later and, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries on scene.
