Charges Filed Against Hiddenite Man

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 42-year old Marty Joe Bryan of Hiddenite on Saturday. Bryan was charged with assault on a female, resisting arrest, felony possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Alexander county Detention Center. A court appearance is scheduled for today.

Bryan was arrested earlier in the month after a chase reached speeds of 100 miles per hour before he crashed into an Eastern Alexander County field.
