Catawba County Deputies Charge Kernersville Man

A Kernersville man is facing a long list of charges following his arrest Wednesday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.

26-year-old Ja’Daren Olajawn Hairston is charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, multiple counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or inflict serious injury, kidnapping, possession of a firearm by a felon, kidnapping, felony probation violation , and a felony fugitive warrant from another state. Hairston is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $140,000. He is scheduled for a Monday court appearance in Newton.
