Brevard Woman Facing Alexander County Charges

Shyann Nicole Crouse, age 22 of Brevard is being held in Alexander County custody. She was placed in the County Detention Center on Tuesday on 2023 charges of felony possession of schedule I controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crouse has additional pending charges pending in Alexander County dating to 2020 when she was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, careless and reckless driving, and driving while license revoked. She was scheduled to appear is Alexander County Superior Court earlier this week.

A Buncombe County charge of defrauding a drug test is also pending.
