Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies went to a location in the Wittenburg Community on Friday and arrested 20-year old Joseph Conrad Fox.
Fox was wanted by the Horry County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office for attempted murder.
Three people were shot at motorcross track in Loris, South Carolina on October 21st. All three shooting victims have survived their wounds.
South Carolina authorities notified the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Friday that Fox was considered the suspect in the shootings. Fox was taken into custody without incident according to Alexander County Sheriff Chad Pennell.
The suspect is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center as a fugitive. He is also facing a charge of felony probation violation.
The Horry County, South Carolina Sheriff’s Office is expected to file attempted murder charges against Fox on Monday.
Fox has previous pending charges in Alexander County for possession of a firearm by a felon, conspiracy to discharge a weapon into an occupied vehicle, felony conspiracy to sell/deliver schedule VI controlled substance.
