There is a pronounced police presence at the Taylorsville Food Lion Store on Highway 90 West. Most entrances to the store are blocked by Taylorsville Police vehicles. A spokesperson indicated that officers are investigating an incident that took place in the parking lot.
The incident did not take place in the store according to a Food Lion employee.

Taylorsville Police say they are searching for the Ford truck and red passenger car shown in the photographs.
Police Chief Douglas Bowman has confirmed it’s thought a shooting incident took place in the Food Lion Parking lot. It’s not known if anyone was injured.

Taylorsville Police have found the suspect pickup truck. The red car has yet to be located.
