***Breaking News*** Multiple Severe Injuries After Crash This Morning In Alexander County

At least three people suffered life-threatening injuries in an accident this morning north of Taylorsville.

Around 7:30am, two vehicles collided head-on in the 400 block of Vashti Road.

One person was airlifted with life-threatening injuries. Two people were also severely injured. Their condition is not confirmed.

The NC Highway Patrol is in charge of the investigation.
