**Breaking News** Man Held After Major Drug Bust Overnight In Alexander County

A man has been charged with a series of felony drug counts in Alexander County.

46-year old James Lee Weaver is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center this morning under a secured bond of $1 million. He was taken into custody overnight on charges that include felony trafficking of heroin, felony trafficking methamphetamine and felony trafficking fentanyl.

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is expected to release additional details later today, check back for updates.
