The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office is investigating what they’re calling a home invasion in Eastern Alexander County.
According to a press release from Sheriff Chad Pennell, Deputies were called to a residence on Springfield Drive around 3:10 am Thursday in reference to a vehicle breaking and entering.
Investigators determined that the incident was also a home invasion, with one juvenile suspect still on the scene.
Four juveniles allegedly went into the home, at least one of the suspects was armed. Multiple items were taken from both the vehicle and the residence.
Sheriff Pennell said Thursday afternoon that there were no injuries and there were multiple people in the home at the time of incident. The Sheriff also indicated that additional charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.
