A body was found near a Wilkesboro restaurant Friday morning according to Wilkesboro Police.
A caller to 911 reported a body sighted near the Sonic Restaurant on US 421 around 9:30am. The body is reported to be a male. No other details have been released.

Update: The deceased person found has been identified as 51-year old Brinker Longton Andresen of Wilkesboro. There was no obvious sign of foul play, they investigation in ongoing.
