70-year old Earl Vernon Ashe of Taylorsville was arrested Monday by Deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. Ashe was charged with assault on a female and assault/inflicting serious bodily injury. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.
