Alexander County’s COVID-19 Count Climbs Again

Another 36 cases of COVID-19 were reported in Alexander County on Thursday.

74 cases in the last 48 hours

152 cases in last 7 days

312 cases in last 14 days

90 deaths

8 county citizens are in a hospital with COVID-19 associated symptoms

38 percent of county is fully vaccinated

36 percent have received 1 dose

The Alexander County Health Department is scheduling appointments for the Pfizer vaccine for persons age 12 and older and the Moderna vaccine for persons age 18 and older. To register for a vaccine appointment at our office, visit https://alexandercountync.gov/covid/ or call 828-632-9704.
