Alexander County Woman Facing Drug Charges

A Hiddenite woman is facing a series of felony and misdemeanor drug charges after her arrest around 2am on Thursday.

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies charged 32-year old Megan Elizabeth Johnson with felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of schedule III, IV and schedule VI controlled substances along with possession of drug paraphernalia. As of earlier today, Johnson remains in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000. A Monday, September 11th court date is scheduled in Taylorsville.
