Alexander County Schools Awarded Grant Money To Upgrade Safety Measures

Alexander County Schools has announced they will receive $98,000 from the Center for Safer Schools Grants Program. The funds will be used to upgrade safety measures like window clings, alarm systems and more. The state money will pay for projects at Sugar Loaf, East Alexander, Wittenburg, Alexander Central, and Stony Point.
