An Alexander County poultry operation suffered damage overnight.
Hiddenite, Stony Point, and Taylorsville Fire Departments responded around 10pm to a location off Stikeleather Road.
County Fire Marshall Mark Earl says the fire caused around $75,000 damage including birds. He says it appears the fire was electrical in nature.
