The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year old Neil Curtis Barnett of Taylorsville on Sunday. He was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense and felony probation violation. Barnett’s bond was set a t $25,000 and as of this morning (October 4th) he remains in the Alexander County Detention Center. A court date for October 11th is scheduled.
