Darnell Stanley Spears
The arrest is the result of a two-month investigation with the assistance of the Taylorsville Police Department, North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, and United States Homeland Security.
Spears is facing a series of felony drug offenses that include possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule IV controlled substance and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance. Misdemeanor charges filed are possession of marijuana and child abuse. Spears was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $50,000. As of earlier today (Friday) he is no longer listed in custody.
