Alexander County Man In Jail…Again !

Roger Thomas Hamby, age 35 of Hiddenite, was placed in custody on Friday, May 13th. Hamby was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and served with arrest warrants for failure to appear in both Alexander and Iredell Counties. The charges include felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor larceny and second-degree trespass.

Hamby is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $22,500. Hamby also has pending charges awaiting trial in Catawba County.

The next court date listed is May 23rd in Iredell County.
