As previously reported on June 5th, Aimee Jo Cook, age 50, Devonshire RD., Taylorsville, was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She was charged with probation violation and assault on a government official after allegedly slapping a deputy. She was held in the County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond. An additional charge of malicious conduct by an inmate of prisoner has been filed. The new charge involves the suspect willfully throwing a bodily fluid at a detention officer. Cook remains in custody with a bond set for $65,000.
