A significant law enforcement presence will be evident this morning in Northern Alexander County.
Alexander County Sheriff Chad Pennell says his officers along with other agencies will conduct a “land search” in the area of Rocky Face Church Road. The Sheriff said on Wednesday “There will no safety or security risk related to this activity.” Pennell would not comment on the reason or nature for the search but indicated that it’s related to an investigation.
